Ingredients: Today puff pastry Beaten egg Apricot jam Green & red food coloring Icing sugar
Method: Roll out pastry on a floured surface. Cut pastry into even sized squares. Brush the corners with egg and fold over into triangles. Brush with more egg. Place on a greased flat baking pan. Bake in preheated 180degC oven till puffed and golden. Mix jam in separate bowls, a little red & little green. Drizzle with a spoon over pastry. Dust with icing sugar.
Note: you may make any design with the pastry. The triangle is the old fashioned way to make jam tarts. I made in the windmill shape, triangles etc. Google pastry shapes and have a go.
