4 ½ cups flour 1 packet instant dry yeast ½ cup castor sugar 2 teaspoon cinnamon powder 2 teaspoon mixed spice ½ teaspoon salt 1 ½ cups lukewarm milk 50g butter - melted and cooled 1 egg - slightly beaten 1 - 1 ½ cups mixed dry fruit ( depends on how much fruit u want) Add all dry ingredients into your mixer with a dough hook. Add in your warm milk and mix on low. Slowly add in your butter and then your egg. Add your fruit. Mix until a smooth and elastic dough forms. Transfer into an oiled bowl and cover with a cling wrap and a table cloth over and leave in a warm place to rise.( 30-40 minutes) punch down and divide into 12 equal parts and set in a tray. Leave again for about 30 minutes to rise. For the white line : ½ cup flour 5 tablespoon water Make a smooth paste and put into a piping bag or ziplock packet and pipe across Bake at 180 for about 25-30 minutes till golden Syrup ¾ cup sugar 1 cup water Boil together till it thickens and brush over buns while still hot.
