With a difference my style
Marinate 1 kg mutton (Boneless) Or your preference And or chunky cubed Chicken fillets With ¼ cup yoghurt Little lemon juice 2 -3 tablespoon tomato puree 1 large finely chopped tomato or grated if u prefer 1 ½ teaspoon ginger garlic ½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric) 1 tablespoon paprika (optional) 1 tablespoon Dhana jeera 1 teaspoon salt Little fresh mint (optional) Mix all above Add 1 grated fried onion and 1 ½ sliced onion (keep aside some fried onion for garnishing later)
In a pot heat ¼ cup oil or ghee (Clarified butter) add 1 teaspoon crushed jeera 1Tblsp toasted and crushed poppy seeds (optional) ½ teaspoon crushed somph or somph powder (optional) 2 slit green chilies Braise few minutes now add all the marinated meats Add water little by little if necessary Cook till thick gravy is formed Adjust salt to taste and chilli if u want hot Add 1 teaspoon garum masala Cook a while add the ½ sliced onion that u kept aside Garnish with green chopped dhania (coriander) Fried potato halves is an optional. Serve with naan roti or rolls Salads etc
