@Mehjabeen Jable - Here is the best ever plain sponge cake recipe which you can use for cupcakes as well: Vanilla Sponge Ingredients: 125g butter 1 1/2 cups flour 1 cup castor sugar 3 eggs 3/4 cup milk 1 tspn vanilla essence 3 tspns baking powder Method: Preheat oven to 160 degrees. Add butter and milk and microwave until butter melts. Keep aside. In a separate dish, add eggs and sugar. Beat well until light and fluffy. Add flour and baking powder and mix well. Add melted butter and milk into flour mixture. Add vanilla. Mix well and pour into a well greased baking pan. Bake for approximately 15 minutes until cake has risen and golden brown in colour. Remove, cool and ice as desired. Enjoy !!!

@زوجة طا هر ❤ - The sponge was not firm enough. That's why it cracked. Please try it again and finely slice the sides before you roll it. This should help.
