Chicken Karaai* (1 KG fillet)
1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon crushed chilli ¾ teaspoon turmeric 1 ½ teaspoon dhana jeera 1 teaspoon chilli powder 5 pepper balls 2 cinnamon sticks2 Elachi (cardomom)4 cloves½ teaspoon whole jeera½ teaspoon ginger 1 teaspoon garlic 2 tablespoon lemon juice5 tablespoon yoghurt 3 tomatoes liquidised 3 medium onions (fried)1 chilli sliced in half
Let it marinate for about 2 hours and cook before supper
Cook on medium heat for about 20-30 minutes till water is burnt out Add boiled eggs or fried potatoes. Serve with naan or rotiGarnish with dhania (coriander).
