INGREDIENTS
3 large red apples cored and halved and cut in quater slices
Ready rolled butter puff pastry just thawed
¼ cup bought vanilla custard
1 egg lightly whisked
2 tablespoon castor sugar
METHOD
Heat oven to 200 deg.line a baking tray with non stick baking paper. Cut apples in half length ways into six thin slices.cut pastry into 12 equal squares. Place 1tspn of custard onto the center of each pastry square. Top withthree apple slices overlapping diagonally across the ppastry.fold 2 opposite pastry corners into then center and secure with a toothpick.brush with egg and sprinkle with sugar.bake in pre-heated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown.remove from oven and set aside on the tray for 5 minutes, serve with ice cream
