INGREDIENTS

250g butter 1 cup castor 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla ess 4 cups flour 4 teaspoon Baking powder 1 cup jam ( Smooth with folk )

METHOD

preheat oven to 160 degrees Beat together butter and sugar until white Add egg and Vanilla ess beat slightly Add the dry ingredients mix until a soft dough forms using an oven tray press almost all the dough and flatten in a oven tray , spread jam , not to much to the edges as It will burn . take the remaining dough and grate on top
bake at the 160 degrees for 30 minutes . you can leave inside to harden or bake until done . cool and sprinkle icing sugar
