INGREDIENTS
1 kg steak rump or fillet3 onions finely chopped2 cinnamon sticks3 whole chillies vagaar1 tablespoon whole jeeru (cumin)2 Elachi (cardomom) pods1 ½ tablespoon fine red chillie powdersalt to taste1 ½ tablespoon dhana jeera ground¼ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste1 tablespoon garlic paste6-8 tomatoes3 tablespoon tomatoe pureepotatoes friedghee (Clarified butter)
METHOD
Marinate steak in chillie powder,arad (Turmeric),dhana jeeru (cumin),ginger garlic paste and salt.Add ghee (Clarified butter) to pot on medium heated stove ,add onions,whole jeeru (cumin) ,whole chillies,Elachi (cardomom),cinnamon sticks,cook onions just until it starts changing colour(please watch pot)add marinated steak.allow to cook on ,medium until half done.add tomatoes and tomatoe puree when tomatoe looks cooked add fried potatoes.Always check your pot for water to be added.Garnish with fresh dhania (coriander).
