1 cup ordinary sugar4 eggs (beat in 1 at a time)3 heaped teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon vanilla essence½ cup oil1 cup cake flour½ cup boiling water
Topping-250ml fresh creamIcing sugar (to taste)Flake
1. Beat ingredients in order as listed.2. Grease and line 2x 20cm round pans.3. Pour into pans and bake in preheated oven at 180degC.4. Bake for +/-25min.5. Test if cake is done, remove from oven. Allow to cool for few minutes.6. Remove from pans, allow to cool completely.7. Whip cream with icing sugar till stiff.8. Sandwich some between the 2 cakes. Then pipe/ spoon onto cake covering it all over.9. Sprinkle on crushed flake all over.10. Place in cake to chill. Serve chilled.

Note: I made a chocolate collar with bubble wrap and made a mixed berry compote and sandwiched between the 2 rounds of cake.
