1kg jumbo prawns (deveined, shell removed, head and legs removed, tail on)SaltPepperGarlic powderChilli powderStore bought kataifi pastryOil for frying
1. Rinse prawns.2. Heat oil in a frying pan.3. Sprinkle a good pinch of each spice on either side of prawn. 4. Wrap pastry around prawn, leaving tail exposed. 5. Place into hot oil and fry till lightly golden on either side.6. Serve with tartar sauce/ lemon butter sauce/ peri-peri sauce.
