INGREDIENTS
1 can chickpeasHalf teaspoon saltHalf teaspoon whole Jeeru (Cumin)Half teaspoon whole garlic or garlic flakes 3-4 tablespoon olive oil- add more if required4 tablespoon lemon juice¼ cup water- if you like it thick , add less2 tablespoon sesame seeds , toasted in pan until golden brown
METHOD
Blend all together until smooth. ( I used a hand blender.) Add more water while blending according to the consistency that you prefer.
Once blended place in serving tray and drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle some paprika /pomegranates /Zaatar.
Serve hummus chilled with :Pita ( woolworths or homemade)Cucumber/ carrots / celery stickOlives ( lady olives ) Feta
INFO & TIPS
OPTIONAL - I added lady olives red pesto paste to hummus and some paprika while blending.
