
Vermicelli

1 packet vermicelli (150g)½ cup ghee (Clarified butter)/butter (unsalted)2 cardamons1 Cinnamon stick1 cup hot water+¾ cup hot milk.1 cup sugar Few saffron threadsSultanas & Sliced almonds to sprinkle.
METHOD
Braise vermicelli, elaichie, cinammon stick in ghee (Clarified butter) until pink.Add water/milk cover and cook until soft on low heat allowing the water to absorb but not dry. Add sugar and crushed Zafran (saffron), toss in sultanas and badam (almond) (save some for garnishing ) mix well and cook for few minutes. Or put in oven gas mark 4 for 10 -15 minutes. Sprinkle almonds & sultanas over.
