1 kg Mutton½ kg Onions4 TomatoesPotatoesGreen chillies Mint Cinnamon sticks, Elachi (cardomom) Long 200gr Margarine 1 Cup Oil½ tablespoon Jeera Roasted whole4 tablespoon Chilli powder6 tablespoon Dhaniya powder 1 tablespoon Tumeric powder 1 tablespoon Ginger Garlic 3 Cups Basmati rice ½ cup Masoor (Back lentils) Dhal
Braize meat.When half cooked add Onions, Tomatoes, Mint, Green Chillies and Masoor (Back lentils) Dhal.When meat is soft add Potatoes, Rice and Water.Braize with Onions and Jeera.
I used lamb pieces.
I halved this recipe.
Blitz the Onions and Tomatoes.
After adding Potatoes, Rice and Water I placed pot into my oven until cooked.
Serve with chilli mint yoghurt and parpad.
