INGREDIENTS
To Fry250g chicken breast cubed½ eggs white1 teaspoon Soya sauceChilli powder (a pinch)2 tablespoon Corn flour 1 teaspoon Ginger & Garlic pasteSalt (a pinch)4-5 tablespoon Oil
For Sauce1 teaspoon Ginger paste1 teaspoon Garlic paste1 medium onion finely chopped1 tablespoon Soya sauce 2 tablespoon Red Chilli sauce 2 tablespoon Tomato sauce 1 teaspoon Vinegar (add more if required, according to taste)1 Cup Water2 teaspoon Corn flour 3 tablespoon Water½ teaspoon Sugar½ teaspoon Salt1 Cup bell peppers cubed2 tablespoon Spring Onions for garnishing
METHOD
Cooking the Chicken1. Mix the Chicken with Soya sauce, salt, chilli powder and garlic and ginger paste. 2. Add egg whites and flour and mix well. Set aside for 1 hour. 3. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry chicken on a medium flame until golden brown, remembering to turn over to cook both sides. 4. Once chicken is cooked through remove onto kitchen towels for draining. Making the Sauce1. In a small bowl mix the corn flour with the water. 2. In a separate bowl mix together the Soya sauce, Vinegar, tomato sauce and chilli sauce. 3. In the same frying pan, used for the Chicken, fry the onions until transparent.4. Add the bell peppers and fry for 3-4 minutes. Add the sauce mix. 5. Once the mixture starts to bubble add in the corn flour mixture and 1 Cup of water. Stir well. 6. Once the sauce thickens add in salt and sugar according to taste. 7. Turn off heat and add the Chicken and mix well. 8. Transfer into a separate bowl and garnish with spring onions. 9. Serve with Egg/Vegetable fried rice
