For 500g steak1.5 teaspoon garlic pepper1.5 teaspoon lemon pepper1.5 teaspoon crushed pepper1 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice)2 teaspoon ginger garlic1 teaspoon green chilles crushed¼ cup mayo2 teaspoon crushed garlic1 tablespoon lemon juice
For sauce:1/4cup mayo125ml creammixed herbs/thyme
1. Make gashes in the steak and marinade for about 2 hours2. Cook till done - slow in oven is best3. Make sauce and pour over steak when serving(can add mushrooms to sauce)
Use a nice big uncut piece of fillet for a special meal
Served here with Orange spice pasta (recipe on HR) and green beans
