INGREDIENTS
1 Packet Long Spaghetti (broken into pieces or left whole)1 tablespoon oilSalt to tasteEnough water to boil the pasta
Chicken:2 chicken fillet steamed and shredded1 small onion or half a big onion sliced1 tablespoon oilSprinkle of jeera seeds1 grated tomatoeSalt to taste ½ cup frozen veggies1 teaspoon chillie powder ½ teaspoon tumeric powder1 teaspoon dhanya powder/ dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder¼ cup water
Tomatoe sauce
Mash:5 - 6 potatoes boiled/microwavedSalt to taste Sprinkle of fine black pepper1 tablespoon butter/margarine½ cup milk
Grated gouda cheese (or what you prefer)1 fresh tomatoe slicedDried thyme, parsley and oregano (optional)Little salt to sprinkle on topCoarse black pepper to sprinkle on top
METHOD
- Boil spaghetti, drain, rinse in cold water to prevent sticking and set aside- Cook chicken till curry done, mix with spaghetti - Put in a pyrex/casserole dish- Drizzle some tomatoe sauce on (Optional)- Top with the mashed potatoes - Grate on cheese- Top with the tomatoe slices - Sprinkle on salt (only a pinch), coarse pepper and dried herbs- Bake covered 20 minutes then grill till bubbly and golden and yummy- Enjoy :)
