INGREDIENTS
Frozen mixed vegetables (steam till partially cooked)Cubed potato(Any other vegetables of your choice)
1 grated tomato2TBTomato paste Ginger garlic paste Jeeru (Cumin)Sliced garlicChilli powderTumericdhania (coriander) Jeeru (Cumin) powderGharam masalaSalt to tastePinch SugarSmall piece cinnamon stickFew elachie and clovesOnion slicedghee (Clarified butter)/Oil
METHOD
Cook basmati rice in salted water.Add orange food colour if desired.
Heat oil and 1TB ghee (Clarified butter). Add cinnamon stick and elachie,cloves.Add sliced onion and jeeru (cumin).Cook till soft. Add sliced garlic. Then add grated tomato,tomato paste and all dry spices. Add a little water if needed. Add veggies.Layer the cooked rice over the vegetable-gravy.Steam till set.Serve hot and add onion vagaar.Serve with dhai
