INGREDIENTS
2 kg Kellogg's corn flakes1 box Kellogg's rice krispies 6 cups puffed rice2 cups pawa5 large potatoes2 large onions1 ½ kg peanuts, skin on1 bunch dhania (coriander), choppedGreen chillies, chopped200 g white sesame seeds200 g fennel seeds4 curry spoons chilli powder (adjust to taste)1 curry spoon Kashmiri masala 1 curry spoon turmeric powder Salt to taste1 curry spoon sugar1 kg roasted cashews½ kg chopped pecan nuts
METHOD
Lightly grill 1st 3 ingredients separately in oven till crisp.Fry pawa in hot oil for a few seconds. Drain excessive oil.Add all of the above in a huge dish.Grate potatoes, rinse and tightly squeeze out water. Divide potatoes into 3's and color.Fry potatoes in hot oil till crisp..cool and add to dish.Finely slice onions, fry, crush when cool, add to dish.Place peanuts in oven till crisp, careful not to burn, add to dish.Wash and towel dry dhania (coriander) and chillies, chop, fry till crisp and add to dish.Place sesame seeds and fennel seeds in oven. Grill for 10 minutes, add to dish.Add masalas and salt.Add sugar.Mix well.Top with cashews and pecan.
