250g Soft Butter1 Cup Sugar3 eggs (Seperate yolks and whites) ¼ teaspoon Orange essence ½ lid Vanilla essence2 cups Flour -(if u prefer SRF u may use or add ½ teaspoon bicarb to the flour) 2 Heaped teaspoon Baking Flour +- 1 Cup Orange juice Few grated rind of the orange +-1 tablespoon
Beat the Butter and sugar wellAdd the Egg yolks only Beat well till Creamy Then add the Egg WhitesThe Orange Essence and the Vanilla EssenceBeatGradually add flour and add the Orange juice and rind - you might need more juice To get a smooth creamy slightly thick batter Beat all well Pour in cup cases or bake in cake tray For 180* for 25 - 30 minutesOr when skewer comes out clean when inserted in the cake Allow it to cool. For the toppingUse 4 tablespoon soft butter add some juice and orange essence and orange rind heat on stove add 1 cup icing sugar stir add few drops of milk to get a thick runny tectureWhen cake is cold Smear the frosting over sprinkle with sprinkles Cut in squares or leave as cup cakes Enjoy 😋
