INGREDIENTS
500g of green beans - tips cut off and cut into pieces 1kg of stewing beef or lamb knuckles 2 tablespoons garlic and ginger paste Salt to taste 1 large onion - cut fine 2 medium potatoes cut into quarters 1 Teaspoon of Bisto 2 tablespoons ground white pepper
METHOD
Add oil to cover the base of a deep pot, once warm, add the chopped onions until golden brown. Add washed cut meat, salt, and pepper. Add the garlic and ginger paste and mix together. Braise until raw smell of garlic and ginger disappears. Let meat brown for 30 minutes and then add bisto to quarter cup water. Add to the meat and continue cooking on a medium heat for another 10 minutes. Add the green beans and potatoes and let this cook until soft. Add water little at a time keep gravy. Check the salt and add if needed.Serve with rice and beetroot salad
