1 kg carrots150gr margerine/ butter or ghee (Clarified butter) .1 liter full fat milk1 & ¼ cup sugar2 teaspoon crushed cardamom powder.1 cup khoya-optional (dried evaporated milk solids.)Qtr cup chopped Almonds Silvered Almonds & pistachio for garnishing. Wash, peel & grate carrots to medium thickness. In a pot add the carrots with sugar.On medium flame fry until all the water has dried up. Keep stirring in between.Add the margerine, butter or ghee (Clarified butter).Add the cardamom powder, chopped nuts,Mix well cook until well combined.Now add in the milk, lower the flame, cover & cook for an hour until carrots are soft & tender.On high flame dry out excess milk, keep stirring, add the khoya (optional). Cook for 10 minutes garnish with Silvered nuts & serve immediately. Enjoy the twist🤪.
