INGREDIENTS
3 chicken fillet pieces cubed and washed 1 teaspoon garlic ¼ teaspoon ginger Aromat (a South African Spice) /salt to taste( how salty you like it)1 teaspoon crushed green chillies 1 teaspoon chicken spice 1 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
2 or 3 medium sized potatoes cubes Vinegar chips spice and chilli powder added in3-4 tablespoon mayonnaise 2 tablespoon Nando’s sauce 1 full teaspoon tomato sauce
Sliced thinly lettuce and cucumber
METHOD
Cube chicken and add spices to the chicken(Aromat (a South African Spice), chicken spice, green chillies, ginger and ginger and garlic)Add ghee (Clarified butter) to a pot and cook till done.Once cooked add in mayonnaise, Nando’s peri peri mild and tomato sauce, mix till combined and set aside.Cube potatoes and fry till done. Add steers chip spice, a pinch or more of chilli powder and a tablespoon of vinegar. Set aside In a small bowl add cucumbers and lettuce with your favourite salad dressing (I used the knorr honey and mustard dressing) and a dash of lemon juice.Cut mini pitas in half and assemble together.Mix together in small separate bowl butter and mixed herbs and spread on top of mini pitas.Toast on the stove till nice and crispy and enjoy!
