RECIPE
For 1 chicken:¼ teaspoon crushed jeeroo (cumin)2 teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice)1 teaspoon lemon pepper½ teaspoon fine white pepper ½ teaspoon fine black pepper Pinch arad (Turmeric) (turmeric)Less then ¼ cup lemon juice (I use juice of half lemon)¼ cup mayonnaise(can be omitted)¼ cup plain yoghurt 1 teaspoon ground garlicGreen chillies to taste1 tablespoon Steers mustard sauce or 2 teaspoon mustard powder1 tablespoon jalapeño sauce(can be omitted)Handful of crushed fried onions1 cinnamon stick and 2 Elachi (cardomom) (cardamom)
📌Make a paste with all the ingredients and marinate chicken for at least an hour. 📌 Melt 1 tablespoon butter/ ghee (Clarified butter) with 1 tablespoon oil, then add marinated chicken.📌Add half cup water and cook on medium heat till done.Do not dry out. 📌Garnish with chopped dhana. Serve with potato wedges/baby potatoes,roti/puri and steamed mixed veggies
