INGREDIENTS
1 onion chopped3 small tomatoes1 heap teaspoon Garlic paste1 cinnamon stick3 cardomon pods300 g steak cubed,(optional)1 teaspoon Tumeric½ teaspoon Chillie powder½ teaspoon Jiera powderSalt to taste¼ cup danya(optional)2 teaspoon tomato paste3 or 4 Rhodes Canned Chickpeas,(Drain it in a colander ..Add in potatoes if you like… cooked halve done!I didn’t add this ..
METHOD
In a large pot braise your onions in oil until nice & golden in colour.Add in your steak cubed or thinly cut up steak and cook for 25 minutes ,add in 1 cup of water until meat is nicely soft.Then the tomatoes & garlic,spices add cook until thick.Lastly add in your tomato paste,chickpea & salt & danya. Cook on a slow heat for 15 minutes. Add ½ teaspoon sugar when the food is done!
