Recipe from the New food with flair
INGREDIENTS
Half c Taystee wheat1.5 c dessicated coconut1 teaspoon baking powder3 eggsHalf c ghee (Clarified butter)1 c sugar3 c milkElachie and almonds to taste1 tin Nestle cream (155 g)
METHOD
1. Mix together milk,coconut,sugar and eggs. Refrigerate overnight.
2. Braise Taystee wheat in ghee (Clarified butter) until lightly browned.
3. Pour in egg mixture and cook until thick.
4. When cool,add Nestle cream and baking powder.
5. Pour into a greased baking pan and decorate with almonds.
6. Bake at 400 degrees celsius for 35 minutes.
