INGREDIENTS
1kg Lamb cut into small piecesChee or Oil2 sprig fresh rosemary1 sprig fresh thyme1 large onion finely chopped2 whole green chilli1 teaspoon whole Jeera2 teaspoon salt2 teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder1 teaspoon white pepper½ teaspoon black pepper1 teaspoon plain ginger and garlic1 teaspoon turmeric1 TbIsp Tomato Paste2 cups of grated tomato2 large potatoes cut in 6Fresh coriander
METHOD
1. Heat ghee (Clarified butter) or oil and fry onions until golden brown2. Add whole jeeru (cumin), green chilli, fresh rosemary and thyme Add meat and spices, cook till nicely browned.Water can be added to prevent meat from burning.3. Add Tomato paste and grated tomato.4. Cook on medium heat for 20 minutes5. Add potatoes and cook till they are soft (Air-fry potatoes to speed up the cooking process.)Optional: Carrots, peas, greenbeans or any veg of your choice can be added to the stew for colour and flavor.Garnish with fresh coriander and serve with fluffy white rice.Enjoy!
