INGREDIENTS
2 cup cake flour 1 teaspoon fine salt1 cup Maas/ plain yogurtExtra flour for dusting and rollingButter for basting
METHOD
Sift 2 cup flour in a bowl.Add 1 teaspoon salt.Mix in 1 cup maas/yogurt.Mix well untill dough forms.Knead for 5 minutes. Separate large ball into 2 balls.Cut each ball into 4 piecesRoll out into oval /round shape.I rolled out all my Naans. I got 8 from this. Use non stick frying pan. Fry on medium heat and adjust as u go.Wait for bubbles and then turn and brush with butter. Parts will puff up. Turn twice. Don't over fry and don't have it too high as it will burn. Temperature control is essential. Rest and serve warm. Can Brush with garlic butter as an alternative after frying.
Serve with butter chicken/ karai or curries.
