Who says cakes are a must for a birthday?Made this Flan de Leche (Crème Caramel) for my husband's birthday because it's his absolute favourite!Silky smooth custard over a layer of golden caramel—baked and chilled to perfection.Topped with raspberries, tinned peaches, chocolas, and a birthday topper for a sweet finish.
Sometimes, the best gift is something homemade and from the heart. 🥰
🍮FLAN DE LECHE🍮(Creme Caramel)

CaramelHeat ½ cup sugar with 3 tablespoon water.. Boil until it turns to a brown caramel colour. Pour into a bake pan or oven proof glass dish and spread evenly.
FlanMix together6 eggs 🥚 2 cup milk 🥛 1 tin condensed milk1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Pour the mixture over the Caramel. Cover with foil.Place pan into a bigger deep baking dish and fill halfway with boiling water.
Bake in a preheated heated oven 180° for 50 -60 minutes.Leave to cool and refrigerate.
I decorated with raspberries, tinned peaches and chocolas and finishes it off with a happy birthday topper.
