Mutton karaai Tried by @fouzy_pal_1
Cooked in multi-cooker
Braise on saute function 2 processed onions in ghee (Clarified butter) with 1 teaspoon whole jeeru (cumin) Few peppercorns Few cloves Taj Elachi (cardomom) slit chillies.Add in 1 kg mutton washed soaked and drained 2 teaspoon @purespice_sa red ginger garlic masala 1 teaspoon @purespice_sa khuri masala 2 tablespoon crushed chillies 1 tablespoon chilli powder 1 teaspoon Saump powder or 1 teaspoon Fennel seeds2 teaspoon dhana jeeroo 1 teaspoon arad (Turmeric)1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon garam masala 1 tablespoon fresh grated ginger 🫚 1 tablespoon vinegar ½ cup double cream yoghurt 3 liquidised tomatoes 🍅 ¾ cup water
Pressure Cook on high for 25 minutes.Release steam. Add in:½ can tomato puree 2 tablespoon brown sugar Few curry leaves 🍃 ½ teaspoon Zaffron essence ½ cup fried onions 🌰
Cook on saute function till gravy is thick.I emptied into a pot and added fried potatoes 🥔 & dhania (coriander)Serve with rice or rotis
