INGREDIENTS
* 1 can (2 Cups)Chickpeas ,rinsed and drained & (reserve some liquid if possible)* 1-2 tablespoon Smooth Peanut Butter or ¼ Cup Tahini,* 2 or 3 tablespoon Fresh Lemon juice,* 1 Garlic clove, minced* 2 tablespoon Extra-Virgin Olive Oil,plus extra for drizzling or Canola Oil (optional),* ¼ teaspoon Ground Cumin* Salt & Black Pepper to taste,* 2–4 tablespoon Water (or reserved chickpea liquid/), as needed for consistency or 3 ice cubes..
Prep time 10-15mins
METHOD
1. Combine the chickpeas, peanut butter or tahini ,add the lemon juice, garlic, cumin into your food processor.2. Process until smooth, scraping the sides of the bowl as needed.3. With the processor running, add the olive oil or canola and some water or ice cubes(I used the ice cubes instead.4. Adjust the consistency by adding more water if necessary,if using it.5. Season to taste with salt & pepper.6. Serve the hummus drizzled with olive oil and (optional )garnish,with a sprinkle of paprika on top😊Serve immediately or store the leftover hummus in the refrigerator for up to five days!!Transfer the hummus to a serving bowl & enjoy with yummy chicken/steak strips /pita bread / fresh veggies or any savoury crackers.Just like store bought hummus😊my version!

First try with peanut butter also gives it a nutty flavour & I loved it!!!
Also the ice cubes it it a nice creamy texture👍
