INGREDIENTS
500 g chicken mince or cubed fillet1 large onion grated2 teaspoon crushed garlic3 liquidized tomatoes2 tablespoon tomato pureepinch oreganum and mixed herbs1 teaspoon fresh red chillies1 teaspoon chilli powder2 teaspoon crushed cumin1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon lemon pepper1 tablespoon Tabasco sauce1 tablespoon mustard sauce
1 cup cubed robot peppers
1 beaten egg1 cup plain yoghurt
grated mozzarella cheese
lasagne: 12 sheets or depending on dish size, boiled or dipped into boiling water individually to softern then layed out on tray.
white sauce:2 cups warm milk2 tablespoon butter2 tablespoon floursalt and pepper to taste
METHOD
Heat olive oil and saute onions and garlic in pan. add meat and spices and braise for few minutes.Add tomatoes,puree and sauces. Cook ¾ way then Add Peppers. cook till meat is left with thick sauce.Remove from heat and cool. Add yoghurt and egg to Meat.For white sauce braise butter and flour. Add milk. Simmer stirring till thickens. Add spices to taste.Cover bottom of greased oven proof dish with chicken, Sprinkle cheese over and cover with lasagne sheets. Continue layering and end with lasagne. Pour white Sauce over. Sprinkle cheese paprika and mixed herbs.Cover with foil. Bake at 180 for 30 to 40 minutes before Serving.Zaakirah
