125 g Cooking Chocolate
125 g unsalted butter
¾ cup brown sugar
½ cup plain flour
2 eggs, lightly beaten
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
½ cup chopped walnuts
125 g Cooking Chocolate, extra
125 g unsalted butter, extra
How to make
1. Preheat oven to 180°C. Line or
grease a 20cm square cake pan.
2. Melt Cooking Chocolate and butter
together in a saucepan over low heat,
mix well. Stir in sugar, flour, eggs,
vanilla essence and walnuts.
3. Spread mixture into prepared cake
pan, bake in oven for 25-30 minutes.
Cool in pan.
4. While brownie is cooling, melt
extra Cooking Chocolate and butter
together in a saucepan over low heat,
stirring.
5. Transfer to a bowl and refrigerate
to a spreadable consistency.
6. Spread chocolate mixture over
brownies. Cut into squares to serve.
