INGREDIENTS
1 litre milk
1 teaspoon full falooda pd (china grass pd)
2 tablespoon custard pd
1 tablespoon coffee
1 tin condensed milk
1 small tin nestle cream
1 packet Marie biscuits
1 fresh cream (250ml)
Chocolate Syrup:
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoon icing sugar
2 teaspoon coffee
2 tablespoon cocoa
4 tablespoon water
100g milk chocolate
METHOD
Bring the milk and falooda powder to a boil. Dissolve custard pd and coffee in 4 tablespoon water. Add to the milk and whisk to prevent lumps. Give it 3 boils and remove from the heat. Add in the condensed milk and nestle cream and whisk. Now pour the mixture into a pyrex. Crush biscuits over the mixture . Allow to cool. Whip fresh cream with a little sugar and pipe over the top. Melt the syrup ingredients on low heat and mix well. Cool. Drizzle over the cream. Refrigerate well, preferably overnight before serving.
INFO & TIPS
For those who don't like a strong coffee taste, reduce the amount to suit your taste. I used half tsp in the dessert and half a tsp in the syrup. Recipe from Cii.
