INGREDIENTS
2 cups flour.
2 teaspoon baking powder.
2 teaspoon melted butter.
Some cold water.
METHOD
Sift the flour and baking powder together.
Add the melted butter using your fingertips to work in the butter.
Then add cold water little at a time to form a soft dough.
Knead dough.
Divide dough in 2.
For the first half make 5 and each one roll into a roti size.
Then take the first roti and smear melted butter and then sprinkle some corn flour on top then place another one on top and do the same butter and cornflour.
The last roti must be left dry then roll again to a big roti must be thin.
Them smear melted butter and cornflour on top then put some water around the edges of the big roti and then roll tightly into a swiss roll.
Cut into finger size and flatten each one then roll out it will be long.
Fry in hot oil using 2 forks to turn and open repeat for the 2nd dough.
Syrup.
2 cups sugar.
1 cup water.
Boil together till sugar is dissolved add some rose essence.
Syrup must be cold.
U can color the dough like I did every alternate roti with a different color.
