INGREDIENTS
4 cups flour
2 tablespoon sugar
1 teasp salt
1 ½ pks yeast
1 cup milk
1 cup boiling water
½ cup oil
Mince/steak filling
600g cubed steak or mince
1 heaped teasp ginger
1 heaped teasp garlic
1 heaped teasp following jeeru (cumin) powder. Cumin powder. Roasted/ leaf masala
¼ teasp turmeric
1 large onion
1 green pepper
1 bunch fresh coriander
METHOD
Mix all dry ingredients in a mixing bowl
Mix all liquid ingr in another bowl
Add liq ingredients to dry ingredients and mix well.
Let stand to rise double its size
Method for filling
Because onion, garlic, ginger, green pepper in oil until golden brown
Add mince meat and spices.
Add little water if necessary.
Cook until dry.
When done, add green coriander
Leave for cool before stuffing the rolls
Sprinkle with poppy or sesame seeds
Bake rolls @ 180 until done. +- 10 minutes
INFO & TIPS
If you make 2 kinds filling same time.
Sprinkle one lot with poppy and the other lot with sesame seeds to identify them.
Can be made in advance and placed in freezer.
When removed from freezer.
Let stand for 10 min n put in preheated oven for 5 minutes
