I take a nice size bowl to mix all spices etc
Ground dhania (coriander)/Jeeru (Cumin)
Few speed bumpers taj lavang and whole Elachi (cardomom)
Ready crispy fried onions
Boiled Masoor (Back lentils) I dnt put too much becz family dnt like
A little frozen green pea
I take saffron strands and put with little water boil a litle I putbin micro I put a littlebin mixure and I leave a little to pour over my rice.
3to 4 full green chillies
And a hand full of boiled rice
Mix all this than I add chicken and fried potato .
Take a pot slice potatos thin slices like aloo fry one layer add ghee (Clarified butter)/oil this prevents biryani to burm it will first burn potato b4 meat etc (tip)
Than layer your meat a potato matinate than cover with oar boiled basmati rice.
Pour leftover saffron water
Put foil and put lid over
I gve it a steam in stove .when I see steam let out I put in preheated oven 180 degrees
I mke onion vagaar and pour over rice.I boil eggs and place on top of rice half way through cooking process..serve with dhai and kachoomar papar .enjoy and mke dua for me💟
