INGREDIENTS
500g sugar (2cups)1 cup water 250g gram flour1 and ½ teaspoon baking powder ¼ bottle egg yellowTinted almonds ½ tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)
METHOD
Prepare a sticky syrup with water and sugar. Leave on the side of the stove to keep warm2. Soft dry ingredients and rub in ghee (Clarified butter) , add 1 cup water and make a thick batter 3. Using a murku machine with the small whole nozzle, drop and fry boondi in hot oil and drop into a separate dish 4. Pour syrup little at a time over fried boondis (to control amount of syrup) and allow to soak for 1-2 hours 5. Roll into balls squeezing any extra syrup out and roll in tinted almonds
