pista (pistachio nuts) burfee Sojee (semolina flour)
2 cups milk
¾ cup semolina / taystee wheat
6 tablespoon Klim (make paste with little milk)
1 teaspoon Elachie Powder
4 tablespoon slivered pista (pistachio nuts)
1 cup sugar
125ml cream (fresh or nestle)
Beat together the egg, milk, sugar, elachie, colouring and Cream. Melt butter in a heavy based pot,add taystee wheat and braise till pink add little boiling water add in the milk mixture and simmer till it thickens slightly, add in the pista (pistachio nuts) , and klim and mix with a wooden spoon on low heat for approx 10 minutes. Steam on low with the lid closed for another 10minutes or alternatively put it in the oven for approx 15-20 minutes on 180'C.
Drizzle cream and sprinkle slivered pista (pistachio nuts). Serve.
