RECIPE
2 cups flour
1 teaspoon salt
3 teaspoon baking powder
75g butter
1 tablespoon freshly chopped parsley
1 small onion finely chopped
1 teaspoon mixed herbs
1 teaspoon mustard powder
1 cup grated cheese
½ teaspoon green chillies
1 egg
± ½ cup milk
1. Combine flour, salt & baking powder.
2. Rub in butter.
3. Add parsley, onion, cheese, mixed herbs,mustard powder & green chillies.
4. Beat egg & milk & mix into flour mixture with a knife.
5. When dough forms, do not over knead.
6. Pat & lightly roll out dough.
7. Cut with scone cutter.
8. Bake @ 200 °C for 10 to 15 minutes.

Sumi's Tuna filling
1 can tuna water drained
1 small onion cut in cubes
¼ green pepper finely chopped
2 green chilies chopped
lettuce shredded
1 teaspoon garlic flakes
salt to taste
crushed black pepper
2 tablespoon lemon juice
chopped spring onions (green only) & dhania (coriander) finely chopped
cubed tomatoe optional
Mix all the above together.
Slit the scones. On one side spread green chutney & on the other side spread mayonnaise.
Put tuna filling, close & serve .
