For the healthy people:
Clean mielies, breaking into pieces. Place in a deep pot of water and boil until tender. When tender add 1⁄2 teaspoon rough salt and give a quick boil and remove from heat. Garnish with melted butter and salt, or dollop of sour cream and chopped chives.
There are 2 options-
1. After mielies are boiled, slice of the kernels, place in a hot pan with few tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter), salt and white pepper. Cook until the outside is a little crispy.
2. After cleaning mielies, sluce kernels of the cob, place in hot pan with ghee (Clarified butter), salt and white pepper and fry until cooked all the way through.
May add pinch paprika for some heat.
