INGREDIENTS
1 onion sliced2 pieces taj (cinnamon stick)Pinch Jeeru (Cumin) seedsFew curry leaves2-3 large tomatoes (liquidized) ½ -1 teaspoon salt1 teaspoon dhana jeeroo powder1 teaspoon chilli powderPinch turmeric powderPinch ginger garlic masala2 tablespoon chopped dhania (coriander)
METHOD
Braise onion in oil with taj, Jeeru (Cumin) and curry leaves until golden. Add spices and masala. Braise till fragrant. Add tomatoes and dhania (coriander) and cook till completely reduced.
INFO & TIPS
This can be used in butter beans, baked beans, kebabs chutney, steak chutney, fish chutney etc.
