INGREDIENTS
1 ½ cups cake flour½ cup maizena (corn flour)1 eggPinch salt1 teaspoon baking powder1 teaspoon garlic powderPinch turmeric powder½ teaspoon lemon pepper½ teaspoon Aromat (a South African Spice)½ teaspoon fish spice½ teaspoon red chilli flakesIced water/ iced soda water (as needed)2 boxes hake medallions
Also needed-½ roll garlic polony (sliced)4 potatoes (cut into chips)Salt, chilli powder, white vinegar OR Nando's chips sprinkle
METHOD
1. Make a smooth batter with water. Not too thick.2. Dip hake in batter and fry until golden on either side.3. Fry polony & chips.4. Toss chips is seasoning or spices & vinegar whilst hot.5. Serve with mayo/tartar/tomato sauce.#cookwithmeruhana#mamataughtmewellrecipes
