INGREDIENTS
500g bhinda (chopped)1 onion (sliced)2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)1 cinnamon stick1 teaspoon red ginger garlic masala1 teaspoon crushed garlic1 teaspoon dhana powder1 teaspoon Jeeru (Cumin) powder1 teaspoon chilli powder1 teaspoon salt¼ teaspoon turmeric powder2 tomatoes (liquidized)2 tablespoon aamli sauce1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)
METHOD
Cut the tops and tips off bhinda. Then chop into even pieces.Shallow fry bhinda till the stickiness has fried away.Leave aside.Braise onion in oil till golden.Add masala, spices and tomatoes.Cook till chutney forms.Add fried bhinda and aamli.Cook till tomato has thickened.Serve with roti/bread.
Note: may add sourmilk to make into a curry.
