PAv bajie
5 small potatoes
1 ½ cup peas
1 small onion chopped
Boil all the above(appr.3 glasses of water) until soft,sift and keep water aside.mash the veggies,add sifted water mix and set aside.
Braise ½ teaspoon ginger,2 full teaspoon ground garlic,1 teaspoon Ground green chillies with ¼ cup oil.
once done add 2 Grated green peppers and cook till soft then add 2 teaspoon red chillie powder
1 ½ teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin)
½ teaspoon arad (Turmeric)
Salt to taste.
Thereafter add 5 chopped tomatoes and allow to cook till soft and water burns out then Mash it.
Add 1 dishing up sooon of PAv Bajie masala, then potato mixture and little freshly squeezed lemon.
INFO & TIPS
serve with a tangy tomato and onion salsa/kachumbar, toasted rolls, a blob of butter and dhania over the pav bajia and a squeeze of lemon.
