RUHANA EBRAHIM'S RECIPES

INGREDIENTS

1 cup milk,
1 cup fresh cream,
2 eggs,
2 egg yolks,
half cup castor sugar,
1 vanilla bean .


METHOD

Heat milk and cream till just before boiling.
Whisk sugar, eggs, yolks and vanilla.
Pour milk mixture over egg & sugar mixture. Stir well.
Fill ramekins & place in a deep baking tray/ basin. Fill with water 3⁄4 way up.
Bake at 150 deg for 30 minutues.
Serve warm or chill in the fridge.
sprinkle sugar and scorch with a blow torch
