INGREDIENTS
3 Potatoes boiled and mash few kari leaves ½ teaspoon jeera seeds salt ¼ teaspoon ginger garlic ¼ teaspoon ground green chili ½ teaspoon dhana powder ½ teaspoon jeera powder pinch hing powder pinch haldi
green chutney ( either dhania (coriander) chutney or the kari and dhania (coriander) chutney )
½ cucumber peeled and sliced thin grated cheese approx 1 cup ½ red onion sliced thin 1 tomato slices
And approx 4 rotis
METHOD
After the potatoes has been mashed .Take a pot add some oil with the kari leaves and jeera seed allow to braise until you get aroma add the ginger garlic ,green chili and a pinch hing powder on low saute don't burn it . Add the mashed potatoes along with the remaining spices and mix until well combined. Allow this to cool
To assemble :
Roti 1 : spread a good amount of chutney on roti place potatoes over evenly . sprinkle cheese
Roti 2: place roti over potato spread a good amount of green chutney layer the cucumbers over the whole roti , a good amount , sprinkle some cheese .
Roti 3 : green chutney spread place slices of onion and tomato , sprinkle all the cheese ( if you do not like onions and tomatoes you can ommit this step
Roti 4 : place to cover .
Before serving :Heat up the tawa , add some butter place the roti sandwich close the whole roti sandwich with a lid allow it to crisp . Remove lid turn roti over close lid and allow the other side to crisp .
Serve with chutney
