INGREDIENTS
2 cups self raising flour
2 tablespoon ghee (Clarified butter)/oil
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon sugar
¾ cup Sourmilk or Yoghurt or milk & water mix ( I used sourmilk)
METHOD
Mix all together and then knead for about 2 minutes on a floured surface...if sticky rub hands with oil instead of adding more flour...put in a bowl and cover with cling wrap and let rest for an hour.
Divide into 8 balls...roll out in desired shape.
Heat non stick frying pan or tawa...brush pan with ghee (Clarified butter) lightly and fry...when it starts to rise and bubble then flip and fry other side..as each one comes off brush with garlic butter...keep warm and soft wrapped in a dish cloth...best eaten same time...
INFO & TIPS
I did not have garlic butter so i melted some butter crushed garlic and dry parsley in a bowl and brushed over each naan as it came off the pan...
