Ingredients: 6 large chicken fillets 1 tablespoon oil 1 tablespoon crushed garlic 1 teaspoon ground green chilli ½ teaspoon dhana Jeeru (Cumin) powder ½ teaspoon white pepper ⅛ teaspoon turmeric powder ½ teaspoon salt 1 lemon freshly squeezed 1 teaspoon saffron threads 2 tablespoon boiling hot water 2-3 drops saffron essence ½ cup plain double cream yoghurt
Method: 1. Seep saffron in 2 tablespoon water. 2. Marinate chicken in spices, garlic, chillies, lemon, yoghurt & saffron water. 3. Heat oil in flat shallow pot. 4. Place in marinated fillets (reserving marinade) & cook until just turns white on either side. 5. Spoon onto fillets reserved marinade and place under preheated oven on grill setting. 6. Cook chicken till done, & till little charred on top. 7. Serve with savory rice/ chips & roti/ salad.
Note: if you do not want such a strong lemon taste, use only half lemon
