one onion chillies oil one chicken cleaned and cut into pieces 2 potatoes cut and sliced 2 or 3 tomatoes liquidized jeera seeds mustard seeds curry leaves bay leave cinnamon stick one handful packet mix veg or peas chillie powder haldi dhana powder salt ginger and garlic crushed
Fry sliced onion in deep based pot with jeera seeds,mustard seeds chillies,,curry leave bay leave cinnamon stick till lightly browned. Add in chicken pieces and ginger garlic ,ground spices and salt. braise on low covered with lid till water from chicken cooked out.add in sliced potatoes and boiled water just to cover chicken.cook for 10 minutes or until water dried.add in tomatoes and little bit of water. add mix veg or peas. cook on low till thick gravy. garnish with dhania (coriander). serve with rice or as a bunny chow.
