Tip: Spray Your Grater With Cooking Spray Before Grating A Block Of 
Cheese To Prevent Sticking..

Store curry leaves in silver foil, it will last as much as one month

Substitute of wine in recipes is grape/apple juice.

To prevent nuts and fruits from sinking to the bottom of the cake while itâ
€™s being baked, lightly toss the nuts in flour before adding them to the 
cake batter.

Wash n clean dhania(Coriander) , use newspaper to wrap then store in 
fridge

Curry leaves in a zip lock or normal packet and put in deep freezer , will 
stay green , take out when needed

Marinate your chicken in buttermilk to make the meat really tender

Always store eggs with the pointed end down. This keeps the yolk in the

To prevent eggshells from cracking, add a pinch of salt to the water 
before boiling.

If eggshells crack during boiling add a little vinegar to the water. This will

Before buying grapes you should shake the bunch gently, if grapes fall of 
the bunch is not fresh. To store grapes, wrap loosely in newspaper and

If citrus fruits like lemons, limes, oranges etc have been stored in a 
fridge, microwave each one for about 4 seconds to increase the amount

 If you are making gravy and accidentally burn it, just pour it into a clean 
pan and continue cooking it. Add sugar a little at a time, tasting as you go 
to avoid over-sugaring it. The sugar will cancel out the burnt taste

Add a bit of salt in a frying pan, it will prevent the oil from spattering.

Shakira Hendricks ?1 my mother has taught me & I live by it:If u burn ur 
onions,even if it's just a little,throw them away.Wash ur pot & start over 
because the burnt onions will make ur food taste bitter.If u burn ur food 
scoop out the contents except the burnt excess at the bottom,put in a 
new pot with freshly fried onions.

To crisp up leftover crisps (potato n other kinds) or cereal put them in 
bowl n microwave it for 30 seconds at a time till it crisps up again. Wen it 
cools it will be crisp again. 

if you have any mushroom leftover u may freeze it by first cutting the 
bottom of mushroom , slicing dem , put in a pkt n freeze , texture colour n 
taste wil stil remain same 

I  now use beat n mix method for any butter cake recipes This method 
produces perfect results. Try it, its so much quicker
